Pass the teacher/paraprofessional assessment with 450+ score.
Alternate: Associate degree or higher, or 48 college hours with math/english coursework.

Responsibilities

Implements strategies that reinforce positive student behavior and works with the classroom teacher.
Monitors safety of students across educational settings and maintains behavior logs.
Provides intensive behavior intervention using Handle with Care training as required.
Implements instructional plans with the teacher and adjusts as needed for student needs.
Maintains confidentiality of student information and progress.
