Job summary

Cheyenne Mountain School District 12 is seeking a Paraprofessional to support classroom instruction and student learning in our Colorado Springs schools. The role involves assisting teachers, supervising students, and helping implement individualized education plans in a respectful, inclusive environment.

The position is full-time, 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with a wage of $21.00 to $24.02 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• CPR and First Aid certifications may be required at hire.
• Knowledge of child development, behavioral management, and age-appropriate instructional techniques preferred.
• Operating knowledge of adaptive equipment (e.g., electric wheelchair, dynavox, braces, lifts).
