Job summary

Onward Education is partnering with a local school to hire a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students in a structured, inclusive learning environment. You will work under a certified teacher, assisting with academic, behavioral, and daily classroom routines in a multi-grade setting.

You will support students with autism and intellectual disabilities, using positive, student-centered strategies, while ensuring calm professionalism and adaptability across grade levels.

Qualifications

• Direct experience supporting students with autism and intellectual disabilities.
• Familiarity with behavioral interventions and proactive support strategies.
• Ability to maintain professionalism, consistency, and a calm presence in a school setting.
• Comfortable supporting instruction across varied grade levels and learning needs.

Onward Education is partnering with a local school team to hire a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students in a structured, inclusive learning environment. This is a hands-on, student-facing role ideal for someone who’s calm under pressure, consistent, and passionate about helping learners thrive.

Brief Role Summary

In this role, you’ll work under the direction of a certified teacher and support students academically, behaviorally, and with day-to-day classroom routines. The need includes supporting students with autism and intellectual disabilities in a multi-grade blended setting, using positive, student-centered strategies.

• Location: Liberty County, TX
• Schedule: 7:25 a.m. - 3:50 p.m. (approx. 39.5hrs/week)

• Support students individually and/or in small groups with classroom work and learning activities.
