Sylvania is seeking dedicated paraprofessionals to join Reed City Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year in a part-time capacity. You will support teachers, assist individual students, and help create a positive, engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

Summary

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in education or a related field is preferred.


• Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is highly desirable.


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents.


• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and take direction from teachers.


• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.


• Basic proficiency in technology and willingness to learn new educational tools and software.


• Must be able to pass a background check and meet any other state or local requirements for employment in a school setting.
