Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics is seeking a Paraprofessional for a temporary, school-based role near Westfield, NJ. Hours are 8:30am-3:00pm with pay between $20-$25 per hour.

This position offers an exclusive school placement with guaranteed hours and no travel required. Responsibilities include assisting teachers, supporting individual or small groups of students, and promoting positive behavior in a safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree OR 60 college credits OR you have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam.
• Experience assisting teachers and supporting students in learning activities is beneficial.
• Ability to promote positive behavior and maintain a safe classroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Classroom Teachers: support instructional activities and classroom materials.
• Support Students' Learning Needs: reinforce lessons and assist with assignments.

Setting: School-Based Services

• Hours: 8:30am-3:00pm
• Pay: $20-$25/Hour
• Exclusive school placement (no travel required)

Responsibilities:

• Assist Classroom Teachers: Provide support to teachers by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
• Support Students' Learning Needs: Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs.
• Promote Positive Behavior: Help monitor and guide student behavior in the classroom and during school activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree OR at least 60 college credits OR you have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam
