Job summary

Jump Ahead Pediatrics, LLC is actively seeking a Paraprofessional to join our team for a temporary, school-based position near Westfield, New Jersey. The role runs 8:30am-3:00pm, with exclusive school placement and pay between $20-$25 per hour.

You will assist classroom teachers, support students with learning needs, and promote positive behavior in a structured school setting. Candidates need an Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits or have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree OR at least 60 college credits OR you have passed the Paraprofessional Praxis Pro Exam

Responsibilities

• Assist Classroom Teachers: Provide support to teachers by helping with instructional activities, managing classroom materials, and ensuring a positive learning environment for all students.
• Support Students' Learning Needs: Work closely with individual or small groups of students to reinforce lessons, assist with assignments, and provide accommodations for those with special educational needs.
• Promote Positive Behavior: Help monitor and guide student behavior in the classroom and during school activities, ensuring adherence to school policies and promoting a safe, respectful learning atmosphere.
