Job summary

Easterseals NH is looking for Paraprofessionals to join our team in a small school program. You will work with a Special Education teacher to provide direct support to students in classrooms with 5–7 students who have intellectual and developmental challenges.

This is active work, not a desk job, with daily responsibilities including activities of daily living, communication support, and behavioral regulation.

Qualifications

• Two years practical experience working with children preferred.
• High school education or GED required, bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and classroom activities.
• Support development of communication skills and regulation.
• Provide direct support to students in small class (5–7 students) with a Special Education teacher.
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment and be a trusted role model.

Skills
