Easterseals NH seeks a Special Education Teacher for The Gammon Academy to support youth aged 8-21, focusing on social skills, academics, and recreation. The role offers a competitive salary range ($65,000-$80,000) with a $1,500 sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and year-round full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with SPED certification OR Praxis eligibility for Special Education.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Implement classroom programming to meet educational, social and vocational needs of students with disabilities.
• Design a motivating and stimulating classroom environment.
• Plan lessons and implement instruction.
• Supervise paraprofessionals.
• Collect and report data on student progress.

Student populations range from students with Autism and other neurobehavioral challenges to students with mild cognitive impairments and students with social/emotional disabilities.Our students volunteer in the community and our staff give them many rich learning experiences.
