Job summary

Applitrack is seeking an instructional support aide to assist teachers with preparation of materials, classroom displays, and administrative tasks. You will work under supervision of a certified teacher to maintain an orderly learning environment.

Responsibilities include helping with materials, scoring objectives, supervising students, and supporting substitutes. This role is based at our Dumas, Texas location and requires strong communication and prior experience with children.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Instructional Support

Student Management

• Will be required to substitute as needed on days when the teacher fill ratio is not complete.
• Conduct instructional exercises assigned by the teacher; work with individual students or small groups.
• Help supervise students throughout school day, inside and outside classroom. This includes lunchroom, bus, and playground duty.
• Keep teacher informed of special needs or problems of individual students.

Other

• Participate in staff development training programs to improve job performance.
• Participate in faculty meeting and special events as assigned.
