Our client, a wealth management firm, seeks a Paraplanner / Associate Advisor to support advisors and grow into a client-facing role. The role focuses on preparing financial plans, data gathering, and guiding clients through recommendations, with ongoing mentorship toward Lead Advisor.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in financial planning, Series 7/63, and CFP pursuit; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Florida-based in Coral Gables; compensation is competitive with a strong career path.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in financial planning or wealth management.
• Experience as paraplanner or associate advisor or similar role.
• Familiarity with core financial planning concepts and investment concepts.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans with advisors.
• Gather and analyze client information (assets, liabilities, income, expenses, insurance, taxes, estate planning).
• Build planning scenarios to identify opportunities and recommendations.
• Review CRM and planning data before meetings and prepare agendas.
• Participate in client meetings as second-chair and take notes.
• Gradually present portions of plans and recommendations during meetings.
• Translate meetings into action items, CRM updates, and implementation steps.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure items are followed through.
• Collaborate with advisors on ongoing service and planning needs.
• Develop relationships and take ownership of less complex client relationships.
