Wealth Advocate Group in Beachwood, Ohio, is seeking a Financial Paraplanner to support senior advisors in building financial plans and client analyses. You will gather client data, prepare analyses, and participate in meetings, with mentorship toward CFP designation and future advisor roles.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, organized, and communicative, with a bachelor's in a financial field and eagerness to grow within a collaborative wealth planning team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Preferred: Experience within the financial services industry.
• Experience using eMoney, Salesforce, or comparable financial planning and CRM platforms.
• Progress toward or interest in pursuing the CFP designation.
• Securities licenses (Series 7 and/or Series 66).
• Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License.

Responsibilities

• Assist advisors in gathering and analyzing client financial information.
• Input and maintain client data within financial planning software.
• Participate in developing planning strategies and recommendations.
• Conduct research on financial planning, retirement, tax, insurance, and investment-related topics.
• Prepare planning analyses, presentations, and meeting materials.
• Assist with investment and portfolio analysis.
• Attend prospect and client meetings alongside advisors.
• Capture key discussion points, action items, and follow-up activities using firm technology tools, including Jump AI.
• Assist with implementation and follow-up of planning recommendations.
• Communicate with clients regarding information requests and next steps.
• Help ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience throughout the financial planning process.
