Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Paramedic, nationally registered EMT, to join our Westbrook urgent care team as an Urgent Care Technician. You will work with providers to deliver high‑quality care in a fast‑paced setting and help triage patients.

Responsibilities include patient triage, diagnostic testing, ECGs, wound care, documentation, and collaboration across the clinical team. Must be available for 12‑hour shifts and travel to nearby ConvenientMD locations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licensed paramedic with national certification preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care orientation.

Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Triage: take vital signs, document history, identify urgent needs.
• Clinical Procedures: perform testing including vision/hearing, drug screens, spirometry, urinalysis, and point‑of‑care tests.
• Patient Engagement & Documentation: explain plans, document histories, and communicate results.
• Clinic Operations: ensure instruments are clean, sterile, and stocked; support operations.
• Collaboration with Clinical Team: coordinate with providers and mentor staff.
