Job summary

Baptist Health Lexington is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time Transport EMS role. The position requires working 36 hours over 3 days per week, delivering advanced life support care, and adhering to department protocols and state EMS scope of practice.

You will document care accurately, respond to changes in patient condition, and ensure vehicle and equipment readiness for every shift and request for service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• PALS and ACLS certifications.
• Valid driver's license.
• Other Kentucky EMS certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support care per protocols and state scope.
• Complete documentation and patient care reports within required timeframe.
• Perform ambulance transport within Paramedic scope.
• Maintain vehicle readiness, equipment, and ALS gear.
