Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced Paramedic to support the Special Warfare Training Wing at Pope Army Airfield (Fayetteville, NC).

You will provide hands‑on medical support, use advanced life support skills, and coordinate care for training‑related injuries under medical oversight. Responsibilities include triage, on‑scene response, and collaboration with physicians, athletic trainers, and other professionals to maintain student health and readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current National EMT‑Paramedic Certification or state EMT‑Paramedic license at paramedic level or higher.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment per local protocols and EMT‑Paramedic guidelines.
• Provide triage and care for students unable to train due to medical issues; support return‑to‑training decisions.
• Respond to and coordinate EMS activation for trauma and other emergencies; summarize injuries and care for EMS responders.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to support health, performance, and readiness of students.
• Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatment, rehab progress, and medical releases per standards.
