Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced (EMT-A) at Joint Base San Antonio, TX. You will provide clinical oversight, coordinate paramedic staff, and ensure continuous medical coverage for Special Warfare Training Wing activities.

You will use advanced life support skills under medical direction and stay aligned with national/state paramedic guidelines while coordinating with government medical leadership and on‑scene responders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current National AEMT certification or state AEMT license.
• ACLS training and ongoing credential maintenance.
• Three years of AEMT experience in the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and coordination for paramedic staff.
• Deliver advanced life support and rapid response in training events.
• Maintain accurate documentation and coordinate with government medical leadership.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure medical readiness.
