Loyola Medicine is seeking paramedics to join the Emergency Medical Services team in a rotating shift. You will provide high-quality pre-hospital care and intra-facility transfers under supervision, adhering to state protocols and Loyola’s standards of excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Illinois Paramedic License in good standing.
• CPR - American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification in good standing.
• ITLS or PHTLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and transport for sick or injured patients.
• Perform BLS and ALS procedures as permitted by licensure and protocols.
• Accurately assess patient conditions and communicate with medical personnel.
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and medical equipment safely.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Participate in equipment restocking, vehicle cleaning, and continuing education.
