Henry Ford Health is seeking a Paramedic for the Novi Hospital to support Emergency Medical Services. The role involves providing essential life support and patient transport with 36 hours per week, 7am-7:30pm, within a network of facilities in Oakland County.

You will work under physicians and RNs to stabilize patients, perform interventions per protocols, and ensure safe transport while engaging in patient and family education and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalent with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR Associate's/Technical degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire; AHA or ARC accepted.
• Parademic credentialed from the Michigan EMS prior to hire date.
• Michigan Driver's License required.

Responsabilités

• Identify, intervene, and stabilize ill or injured patients under physician or RN direction.
• Initiate and implement interventions based on transport team protocols.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and treatment.
• Provide population-specific education to patients and families about illnesses and therapies.
• Inspect, maintain, and care for equipment to ensure safety for the transport team, patients, and public.
