Job summary

Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT is seeking an experienced Paramedic to join our community-oriented EMS team. You will provide direct advanced life support and basic life support care to patients in our primary service area, operating safely in ambulances and during transport.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in busy 911 systems, CT Paramedic License, and current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Successful completion of Department of Transportation Paramedic Curriculum.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Paramedic in busy 911 systems.
• CT Paramedic License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct effective patient care as part of Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Paramedic team.
• Respond safely in emergency vehicle and during transport.
• Deliver ALS and BLS care to varied patient groups.

The Paramedic provides direct effective patient care to patients in the Charlotte Hungerford Hospital Paramedic primary service area. Must be able to respond safely while operating emergency vehicle and demonstrate the knowledge and skills required to care for a variety of patient groups in the Advanced Life Support and Basic Life Support setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Successful completion of Department of Transportation Paramedic Curriculum
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Paramedic in busy 911 systems.
