Job summary

AMR in Burlingame, CA is seeking a Paramedic for a part-time role offering $34.76 per hour with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and commitment. Responsibilities include providing advanced patient care, driving on 911 responses, and leading on-scene operations while collaborating with public safety teams.

Minimum qualifications include a State Paramedic License, Ambulance Driver's License, Medical Examiners Card, and required certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/ITLS or PHTLS).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic license and Ambulance Driver's License.
• Medical Examiners Card and State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS (PHTLS required by 1.1.25).
• Driving record compliant with company policy and ability to pass agility tests.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced patient care with defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Lead on-scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
