Job summary

AMR in Burlingame, CA is seeking Paramedics for full-time positions in the San Mateo County area. The role offers $34.76 per hour and a $10,000 sign-on bonus with commitment.

The position focuses on delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care using basic and advanced Paramedic procedures, driving ambulances, and leading on-scene operations. A strong license and certifications are required. Benefits are included with FT roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• Ambulance Driver's License.
• Medical Examiners Card.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS (PHTLS required by 1.1.25).
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and oversee scene and unit management.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
