Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position in Burlingame, CA, with an immediate opening and a $10,000 sign-on bonus tied to a commitment. The role offers $34.76 per hour with a clear path to $49.99 per hour on a 12-hour shift.

Join Global Medical Response’s AMR team delivering high-quality emergency medical care. Responsibilities include on-scene assessment, advanced patient care with defibrillator and EKG monitoring, and coordination with public safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• State Paramedic License required.
• Ambulance Driver's License required.
• Medical Examiners Card required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills with medical equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
