Job summary

AMR in Burlingame, CA is hiring Paramedics for full-time roles. We provide high-quality emergency medical services with a $34.76 per hour base and a $10,000 sign-on bonus with commitment. Responsibilities include patient assessment, advanced care, and scene leadership.

You’ll drive ambulances and coordinate with safety teams in a fast-paced environment. Minimum requirements include state paramedic license, ambulance license, and relevant certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS/PEPP/ITLS).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• Ambulance Driver's License.
• Medical Examiners Card.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS OR PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS (PHTLS required by 1.1.25).
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine best action using Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and relations.
