St. Francis is NOW HIRING!! Come join our ED as one of our PRN Night Paramedics!

This is a PRN position to cover 7pm to 7am based on your availability and ED needs.

As an ED Paramedic, you will:

1. Respond to calls for emergency medical services and provide patient care as directed and/or determined necessary.
2. Perform a variety of duties to assist the nursing staff and physician in rendering patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
3. Assist with nursing station duties, including administrative and customer-service related tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent or GED required.
• Georgia State or National Registry Paramedic Certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years Paramedic experience preferred.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
