Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Technician/Paramedic to provide technical assistance and supportive patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment. This PRN night shift position offers competitive perks and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, report, and document clinical data, including vital signs, specimens, and patient observations.
• Assist with patient activities and care as directed by nursing staff.
• Provide superficial wound care and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality at all times.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of relevant medical training or certification (e.g., EMT, Paramedic, CNA) with at least one year of applicable experience.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/ALS preferred (depending on market).
• Experience with IV starts, phlebotomy, and EKGs is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English, both written and oral.
