Baptist Health Care seeks a Paramedic to respond to emergency department requests and assist with BLS and critical care. You’ll document care and ensure equipment readiness under hospital policies. The role includes interdepartmental transport and support of codes in the ED.
The position requires Florida paramedic licensure, BLS at hire, and ACLS within 90 days. Community EMS collaboration and ongoing professional growth are encouraged.
The Paramedic is responsible for responding to requests by the nursing staff or physician staff to assist with BLS interventions and to assist with emergency care within the emergency department according to protocols and polices approved by the hospital and emergency department medical director, and hospital policy. This position performs other duties related to the provision of care as assigned after appropriate training.
