Baptist Health Care seeks a qualified Paramedic to join their team in Navarre, Florida. This role involves responding to emergency requests, providing critical patient care, and assisting nursing staff in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma and required certifications, including a Paramedic license in Florida and BLS certification.
The position is full-time with variable shifts, emphasizing team collaboration and community engagement in emergency services.
The Paramedic is responsible for responding to requests by the nursing staff or physician staff to assist with BLS interventions and to assist with emergency care within the emergency department according to protocols and policies approved by the hospital and emergency department medical director, and hospital policy. This position performs other duties related to the provision of care as assigned after appropriate training.
