Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester is seeking a Paramedic for the Mobile Integrated Health program. The role performs medical care from admission to discharge, with patient assessment, emergency response, and transport coordination in a busy health system.

The position requires MA EMT-Paramedic, CP-C, CPR, and ACLS certifications, plus a valid driver’s license. Schedule includes 7a-7p and 7p-7a on a 40-hour, mixed shift, on-site. Signing bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic certification by MA DPH required.
• CP-C certification by IBSC required.
• CPR certification by AHA/ARC required.
• ACLS certification by AHA required.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Administers skilled, family-centered medical care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedures.
• Responds to a wide range of emergency situations and stabilizes patients.
• Assesses and manages acutely ill patients per MA EMS protocols; arranges emergent transport as needed.
