Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is hiring a full-time EMT Paramedic for on-site EMS coverage. The role involves responding to emergency calls, administering life support, and coordinating patient transport to appropriate facilities.

You must hold MA EMT-Paramedic certification, CPR and ACLS, a valid driver's license, and have strong communication and organizational skills. A signing bonus may be available and a work schedule includes mixed shifts.

Qualifications

• Certification as an EMT-Paramedic by MA Department of Public Health.
• CPR and ACLS certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive emergency vehicle.
• Experience in urban EMS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers skilled medical care in emergency response per EMS protocols.
• Stabilizes patients at scene and during transport.
• Obtains medical history and monitors vital signs.
• Documents care and coordinates with receiving facilities.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment readiness.
