Job summary

METHODIST MANSFIELD MEDICAL CENTER is seeking an ER Technician II to provide basic patient care and assist with direct patient care in the Emergency Department. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, current Texas EMT-P or National EMT-P certification, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications, and at least 1 year of related work

Job Purpose: The ER Technician II is responsible for all basic patient care duties and assists with direct patient care to provide support services to the patients, families, and other Emergency Services staff. This includes, but is not limited to, therapeutic treatment as ordered by the physician on duty, operation of laboratory equipment, patient discharge and education. Supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System.
