Job summary

Penn State Health Milton Hershey Medical Center in Reading, PA is hiring a Paramedic for Life Lion EMS Berks County. This full-time position offers varied shifts, a $5,000 sign-on bonus, and a 12-hour shift pattern with $2.50 night differential.

You will administer advanced life support on 911 calls and during transport. Minimum qualifications include PA Paramedic or reciprocity, BLS, ACLS, PALS, EMSVO, HazMat/NIMS, and Medical Command readiness within set timeframes.

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification in PA or eligible for reciprocity.
• BLS certification (AHA) within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS and PALS within 30 days of start date.
• Valid PA driver's license or eligible out-of-state license.
• PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date.
• HazMat Awareness and NIMS 100/200/700/800 within 30 days.
• Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Administer advanced life support care on 911 emergencies.
• Provide care during patient transportation.
