Job summary

Priority OnDemand, LLC is seeking a Paramedic/EMT-P to lead patient care in pre-hospital or facility settings in Virginia. You will supervise basic and advanced life support and direct crew on medical issues during emergencies.

The role requires active Virginia EMT-I/EMT-P certification, CPR, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, EVOC, and HAZMAT training. You will follow medical control protocols and complete all required reports.

Qualifications

• Virginia EMT-1/Paramedic certification required.
• CPR and advanced life support certifications required.
• Hazmat and incident command knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in delivery of basic and advanced life support.
• Direct crew during patient care and medical issues.
• Examine patients and report findings to medical staff.
• Provide emergency medical care per medical control protocols.
• Complete and file all required reports or runs.
• Operate ambulance adhering to safety rules and company policies.
• Ensure vehicle and equipment are stocked and well-maintained.
• Maintain infection control standards and clean vehicle interior.
• Keep work areas tidy and compliant with regulations.
• Attend required training to maintain Virginia EMS certification.
