Job summary

AMR in California is hiring Paramedics for full-time roles in San Mateo County, Burlingame. Immediate start with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a pay rate of $34.76 per hour. The role focuses on advanced patient care, on-scene leadership, and 911 ambulance responses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• State Paramedic License and Ambulance Driver's License required.
• Medical Examiners Card and valid Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, ITLS or PHTLS certification required.
• Clean driving record; must pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine best action with Paramedic protocols.
• Use defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen suction and IV fluids to provide care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader for scene and unit management.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with health and safety personnel and fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image.
