Job summary

You will provide ALS care, document treatments, mentor EMT partners, and operate ALS equipment. This position offers 12- or 24-hour shifts, competitive pay with ALS differential, and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Current Paramedic certification (Ohio or Iowa, or reciprocity eligible).
• Current ACLS, PALS, and CPR certifications.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ALS patient care including medication administration and advanced airway management.
• Lead patient care during emergency responses.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and interventions.
• Operate ambulance and ALS equipment safely and effectively.
• Accurately document patient care and treatments.
• Mentor EMT partners as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with medical direction and protocols.
