Job summary

AMR is actively seeking qualified paramedics in the United States to join our emergency medical services team. This full-time role offers a salary between $57,200 and $69,212 per year, depending on experience, with benefits and opportunities to impact patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, delivering advanced medical care with defibrillators, EKG monitors, IV therapy, and oxygen; leading scenes as needed; and driving 911 responses while maintaining professional

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification.
  • State Driver’s License required.
  • BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
  • PALS preferred but not required.
  • Driving record compliant with company policy.
  • Some work experience, preferably healthcare.
  • Pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

  • Assess call situations and determine best action with paramedic protocols.
  • Use medical equipment to provide advanced care (defibrillator, EKG, IVs, oxygen).
  • Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
  • Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
  • Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
  • Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
