Zusammenfassung

Northwell Health in Norwalk, CT seeks a CT-licensed paramedic to provide basic and advanced life support in prehospital and emergency department settings. You will supervise EMS personnel at the scene and may serve as Incident Commander for mass casualty incidents.

The role requires maintaining CME hours, Paramedic license, ACLS/PALS certifications, and a valid driver’s license. A preferred science degree and additional certifications (BLS, PHTLS/ITLS, TECC/TCCC, NRP) are advantageous.

Qualifikationen

• High School graduate.
• CT Licensed Paramedic with current ACLS and PALS.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Science and additional certifications (AHA BLS, PHTLS/ITLS, TECC/TCCC, NRP).

Aufgaben

• Provide basic and advanced life support in prehospital and emergency department settings.
• Supervise other EMS personnel at the scene and serve as Incident Commander for mass casualty situations.
• Develop treatment plans per service guidelines and medical direction; implement and document care.
• Attend CME/PCE and maintain Paramedic license, CPR, ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Maintain patient care documentation thoroughly and timely.
• Promote professionalism and act as a preceptor for EMS students.
