Job summary

Northwell Health Ambulance CT is seeking qualified EMS professionals to administer pre-hospital care and transport patients in the Connecticut region. You will be responsible for delivering timely, safe patient conveyance and documenting transport details according to established guidelines.

The role requires CT EMT licensure, BLS/CPR certification, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Training and ongoing CME are provided, with opportunities to contribute to EMS operations and education

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CT EMT license required (EMT-CT).
• BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Administers pre-hospital emergency and non-emergent care and transportation services to sick or injured persons.
• Safely fulfills all patient care responsibilities associated with patient conveyance.
• Document patient conveyance details promptly and accurately per guidelines.
• Maintain EMS equipment in a constant state of readiness.
• Operate vehicles safely while conveying patients.
• Provide high-quality medical transportation to wheelchair and livery patients as needed.
• Complete CME/Educational material on time as assigned.
