Job summary

Norwalk Hospital Association in Norwalk, CT is seeking a licensed paramedic to provide basic and advanced life support in prehospital and emergency department settings. The role includes acting as Incident Commander or Medical Officer for mass casualty events and working with EMS personnel as needed.

Applicants must hold a CT Paramedic license with ACLS and PALS, a valid driver’s license, and at least a high school diploma. Preferred: an Associate or Bachelors degree in Science.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience.
• CT Licensed Paramedic.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced life support in prehospital and ED settings.
• Serve as Incident Commander or Medical Officer for mass casualty situations.
• Ensure patient care criteria are followed and documentation is completed.
• Operate vehicles safely and maintain equipment per policy.
