PatientCare EMS in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Paramedic to provide advanced prehospital care and transportation. You will assess patients, administer ALS interventions, and make clinical decisions under direction.

Responsibilities include on-scene leadership, documentation, and ensuring readiness of equipment and PPE. Requires NREMT-P, SD paramedic cert, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS; flexible scheduling is required.

Qualificações

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current South Dakota Paramedic Certification is required.
• National Registry EMT-Paramedic (NREMT-P) is required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or EPC, and PHTLS.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver ALS interventions.
• Administer medications and perform procedures per protocols.
• Lead on-scene clinical decisions and patient care directions.
• Package, transport, and monitor patients with ongoing care.
• Complete accurate patient care reports and maintain documentation.
• Ensure equipment is clean, stocked, and ready for response.
• Maintain certifications and comply with SOPs and REMSA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with hospitals, dispatch, and EMS partners.
