Job summary

PatientCare EMS in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Paramedic to provide advanced prehospital care and transport. You will assess patients, perform ALS interventions and make critical clinical decisions in high-pressure environments.

Required SD Paramedic Certification and NREMT-P; ACLS, PALS and PHTLS are expected. You will work on-site with EMS teams, maintain PPE standards and participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Requires South Dakota Paramedic Certification and NREMT-P.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or EPC, and PHTLS or obtained within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver ALS interventions.
• Administer medications and perform advanced procedures per protocols.
• Lead on-scene clinical decisions and direct patient care.
• Provide patient packaging, transport and monitoring.
• Complete accurate patient care reports and documentation meeting standards.
• Maintain infection control, PPE and safety protocols.
