Job summary

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Paramedic certification (state and/or National Registry) and strong recent EMS field experience.
• Demonstrated teaching, training, or precepting experience in EMS or related adult education settings.
• Thorough knowledge of paramedic scope of practice, current clinical guidelines, and EMS protocols.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including ability to work with diverse learners in a team-based environment.
• Proficiency with educational technology and learning management systems, with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging didactic and skills-based paramedic coursework.
• Teach classroom and lab sessions, demonstrating and supervising psychomotor skills.
• Provide constructive feedback and assess learner performance through exams and skill assessments.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support learners’ test preparation for certification and licensure.
