Job summary

Associates In Emergency Care LLC is seeking a part-time Paramedic Instructor to plan and deliver didactic and skills-based coursework across Northern Virginia locations. The role focuses on classroom and lab instruction, supervising psychomotor skills, and guiding students toward certification and licensure.

The instructor will maintain records, provide feedback, and collaborate with faculty to keep content current and compliant with EMS standards.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license/certification current and unrestricted, with strong EMS field experience.
• Teaching, training, or precepting experience in EMS or related adult education settings preferred.
• Solid knowledge of paramedic scope, clinical guidelines, and EMS protocols; able to translate concepts for learners.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills; able to work with diverse learners in teams.
• Organizational and time-management skills; able to prepare materials and maintain records.
• Familiarity with educational technology and LMS; willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; degrees in EMS/Healthcare/Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver didactic and skills-based paramedic coursework.
