Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation seeks a Paramedic to provide initial emergency measures and continuum of care across neonatal to geriatric patients, within state guidelines. The role spans pre-hospital EMS and hospital settings under direct supervision, with duties assigned as needed.

Responsibilities include ambulance service operations, ED coverage, documentation, and participation in performance improvement.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 14 days of hire; ACLS; Paramedic certification.
• Licensure: Mississippi certification, Tennessee PALS or PEEP within one year of hire. NALS and PHTLS preferred.
• Driver's license with acceptable driving record and EVOC or EMD as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Performs as a Paramedic for Ambulance Service and for the Emergency Department
• Completes forms for Ambulance Service in accordance with EMS/hospital policies & procedures.
• Maintains ambulances and equipment.
• Participates in EMS Performance Improvement Process.
• Performs patient-focused care.
• Participates in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Completes assigned goals.
