Job summary

Global Medical Response is hiring Paramedics in Washington County, Oregon. You will assess call situations, provide advanced medical care, operate on ambulances, and lead on scene as needed.

You must hold Oregon State Paramedic License, a valid driver license, and multiple certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS); healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Oregon State Paramedic License and a valid driver's license.
• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS certifications required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and assurance.
• Lead the team on scene and manage the unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

Pay Rate: $69,899.83 - $110,171.00 depending on experience

We're hiring Paramedics in Washington County that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Oregon State Paramedic License
• State Driver's License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
• ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
