Job summary

Global Medical Response in Beaverton, OR is hiring Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high‑quality emergency and patient care on 911 responses. You will assess calls, apply advanced medical protocols, and lead the Paramedic team on scene and during transport.

You must hold an Oregon State Paramedic License, a valid driver’s license, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/PHTLS certifications. The role offers a pay range of $69,899.83—$110,171.00, paid training, holidays, PTO accruals, and shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Oregon State Paramedic License required.
• State Driver’s License required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS certifications.
• ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test required.
• Healthcare work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best course of action with Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care using defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead the Paramedic team on scene and manage the unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.

Pay Rate: $69,899.83 - $110,171.00 depending on experience

We’re hiring Paramedics in Washington County that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced, patient care to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Oregon State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, PHTLS
• ICS 100, 200, 700, 800
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
