Job summary

AMR in Yakima, WA is hiring Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality medical care on EMS calls. You will assess situations, apply advanced paramedic protocols, and lead scenes when needed.

You will operate defibrillators, monitor EKGs, administer oxygen and IVs, and coordinate with public safety teams. A WA paramedic license or NREMT-P, ACLS, and PALS, plus a valid driver's license, are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• WA State Paramedic License or NREMT-P.
• State Driver’s License.
• ACLS, PALS.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess call situations and determine best course of action.

• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage the scene as needed.

Paramedic

We’rehiring Paramedics that are passionate about deliveringcompassionate,high-quality service and basic, as well as advanced,patient careto our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Assess each call situation to determinethebest course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patientsand loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as you r fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

Pay Range:

$80,327.94 - $99,204.62/yr DOE (Based on a Full Time, Non-Exempt position working normal schedule)
