Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of paramedic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects and conveys information to RN and physician regarding patient status in the ED.
• Initiates emergent care within scope of practice under RN supervision.
• Assist ED patients and outpatients to maintain effective patient flow in ED.
• Take Vital signs, record inputs/outputs, attach monitors as needed.
• Perform phlebotomy, basic lab procedures, EKGs, wound care, and IV access as required.
