Qualifications

• SC Paramedic Certification is required at offer.
• NRP Certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• PALS or PEPP required within orientation period.
• NIMS ICS 100/200/700/800 required within orientation.
• Active SC or NC driver’s license.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to 911 calls and provide life-saving ALS care.
• Perform ALS interventions and emergency procedures.
• Transport patients safely while monitoring condition.
• Document patient care and transport details.
• Ensure EMS protocol compliance.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and first responders.
• Maintain ambulance readiness and equipment.
