Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the hospital’s emergency preparedness plan.
• Support Joint Commission readiness and compliance activities.
• Develop and manage the department’s annual operating budget.
• Track departmental expenses and provide ongoing budget performance reporting.
• Develop, implement, and maintain departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
• Advise staff regarding policies, procedures, operational requirements, and performance expectations.
• Support Customer Service and Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership and other departments to support organizational objectives.
• Promote a culture of accountability, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

Position Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Director of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) for a direct hire opportunity in Rock Hill, SC. This leadership position is responsible for managing, planning, organizing, and overseeing the operations of the Emergency Medical Services department. Salary range: $95,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
