Job summary

Mercy EMS is seeking a Paramedic to perform direct patient care, assessment and advanced medical rescue to stabilize and transport patients in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Responsibilities include clincal duties, clerical work, and ensuring safety in challenging conditions; candidates must meet licensure and fitness requirements and be prepared for rapid response in diverse terrains.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) license required in state of practice.
• ACLS at hire; PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Hazmat awareness level training.
• Must be at least 19 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment and evaluation.
• Perform basic and advanced medical rescue to access, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients.
