Job summary

Mercy Camdenton EMS is seeking a full-time Paramedic (EMT-P) to perform direct patient care, stabilization, and transport under Medical Director guidance. The role requires ACLS and PALS, Hazmat awareness, and the ability to operate in difficult terrain and high-stress environments.

Schedule is 48/96 with a sign-on bonus available. Applicants must be at least 19 years old and hold a Paramedic license for the state of practice, along with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Paramedic (EMT-P) license required for practice.
• Hazmat awareness level training required.
• ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Must meet unimpaired mobility and physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care: assessment, evaluation, basic and advanced medical rescue; access, stabilize, evacuate and transport patients.
• Perform clerical and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Respond quickly to ambulance calls and work in challenging environments with equipment and patients.
